Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit, Netlify processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to deliver the site securely and reliably.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

Technically necessary cookies: “i18n_locale” stores your language choice, “didefix_cookies” stores your cookie choice (each for up to 12 months). Under § 165(3) TKG 2021 these cookies do not require consent.

Google Analytics cookies (“_ga”, “_ga_…”, up to 14 months) are only set if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page; choosing “Necessary only” deletes the analytics cookies.

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

If you agree, I use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how the site is used – for example which sections are viewed, for how long and from which device type and country. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google signals and all advertising features are disabled; the data is not used for advertising.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page, then “Necessary only”.

Getting in touch

If you contact me by email, phone or contact form, I process your details (name, email address, message) solely to handle your enquiry. Form submissions are forwarded to me by encrypted email.

The legal basis is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the enquiry is closed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Fonts, images & videos

All fonts, images and videos are served directly from this server. No data is sent to Google Fonts, YouTube or any other third party.

External links

This site links to external services such as LinkedIn, kinavigator.at, nuxtix.com and dieterdeutsch.com. Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click a link; their privacy policy then applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Just write to office@didefix.com.

If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
